Pricing options, add-ons and information
How to give your client several packages to choose from, extras with their prices and the terms of the quote.
The Additional information tab holds what your client reads alongside the costs. All of it goes into the document, and none of it changes the budget totals.
Pricing options
Pricing options are packages to choose from, such as a one-day and a two-day shoot. In the PDF they sit above the cost summary. Each option has a name, a price and a scope.
The option price is plain text, such as “€6,000 net”. The app does not calculate it, so you can round it the way you want your client to see it.
- Recommended highlights the option in the document.
- Cost breakdown is for this option labels the cost summary in the PDF with that option’s name. If you tick neither this nor Recommended, the app warns you that the summary will have no label.
Add-ons
Add-ons are extras your client can buy, such as another language version or a social media cut-down. Each has a description and a price in plain text.
Save add-ons you reuse to the library with the plus button on their row. Then add them to the next quote from the From library menu. Manage library opens a window where you tick several add-ons at once, write new ones and tidy the list. The library remembers which currency an add-on was priced in.
Information
The Information section holds the terms of the quote. A new quote gets two defaults, on revision rounds and on whether prices are net. Add others, such as licence terms or shoot day length, yourself. To put them in every new quote, enter them once in Settings → New quotes → Default information.
The number of rounds in that line follows the Revision rounds field on the Project information tab.
